Towards Inclusion and Diversity in Sport Clubs

On 14^th December 2021, a European consortium under the leadership of the Spain based organisation Mi Hijo y Yo, will present its learning material, which will help sport clubs in their work with coaches and parents.

Coaches and parents have been identified as critical in the transformation of sport clubs to work inclusively and accept children with different abilities. The material is composed of tidy and neat slides whose purpose is to raise awareness of the positive aspects of non-competitive sports for children under 12 years of age, create inclusive and diverse clubs and use many tools to prevent violence and intolerance. It is available in Czech, English, German, Slovenian and Spanish.

The event will take place on 14th December 2021 from 10h00 until 12h00 CET.

The European Partnership is composed of the European Paralympic Committee, Informa Psicología y Deporte (Spain), International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education, Mi Hijo y Yo (Spain), Schola Empirica (Czech Republic), and the Pedagoški inštitut (Slovenia).
