Conference Registration Open

 

The conference aims to provide an arena for the development of international event bids, the promotion of South Africa as an ideal winter training destination for athletes and national teams, the encouragement of South Africa´s sport, leisure and tourism opportunities, support for local federations and associations, as well as the dissemination of knowledge and experience in hosting large sporting events.

More specifically the commercial connection between sport events and tourism, the support of local and national events for economical growth, employment and the environment and the impact of media and technology on consumers´ preferences and behaviours, will be explored.

The event will consist of the conference programme including various industry speakers, workshops, and various exhibitors in the sport, business and tourism industries.
