The University of Johannesburg and the Youth Development through Football (YDF) project - implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH - have published “Stories from the Field – YDF Footprint in Africa”. The selected I5 stories in the book and the detailed 45 case studies on the attached CD articulate real-life experiences as told by programme participants, peer-educators and YDF partners from seven African countries. Multiple voices give an expression to the dynamics and impact of sports-related interventions on the lives and social relationships of youth and their communities.
All royalties derived from the sales of “Stories from the Field” are donated to the NGOs represented in the book.
