Wlodzimierz Starosta Receives Distinguished Service Award

Wlodzimiers Starosta, Polish and internationally well-known researcher and founding President of the International Association of Sport Kinetics (IASK) received the Distinguished Service Award of the United States Sports Academy.

In his professional career which started more than 50 years ago, Wlodzimierz Starosta published almost 70 books and over 600 papers which focused strongly on the advancement of human development and sport kinetics. Under his presidency, IASK was a member of ICSSPE’s Associations’ Board for several years.

The Award is given annually to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to sport through education, research or service.
