Upcoming Global Teaching Excellence session on Olympism

ICSSPE is thrilled to announce a new session of  the Global Teaching Excellence (GTE), a initiative designed to enhance best practices by providing a series of open online events throughout the year, focusing on various aspects of teaching excellence. Leveraging the extensive networks from everyone involved, GTE offers a unique opportunity to discuss and learn from best practice initiatives across the globe.

The next GTE session, aligned with Olympic Day, will take place on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 15:00 to 16:00 (CEST). This event is free to attend and will be chaired by Prof. Dr. Annette R. Hoffmann. The panel discussion is titled "Embracing Olympism: Cultivating Olympic Values and Olympic Education Beyond the Games," and as the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris approach, this event will explore the essence of Olympism beyond the spectacle, emphasizing the importance of education in upholding its foundational principles. This event is a must-attend for anyone interested in Olympic topics, sport education, and teaching excellence.
