Philip Noel-Baker Awards

Seven Philip Noel-Baker research awards were presented to ICSSPE members for their outstanding contributions to sport science on an international level. Philip Noel-Baker was a Nobel Peace Prize winner in 1959 for his work in disarmament and was also a successful athlete, academic, politician and diplomat.
The awards were presented during the ICSSPE General Assembly. A profile of each award winner will be featured in each of the upcoming monthly news magazines.
The award winners are as follows:
