Olympism4Humanity

The International Olympic Academy and the Conflict Resolution Program of the Department of Government at Georgetown University have announced the inauguration of Olympism for Humanity (O4H). The programme's objective is to advance Olympism, peacebuilding as well as international development alliances, scholarship and practice.

The first initiative of O4H is the Olympia Practice Summer Programme. This is a professional development training scheme, which will take place in Olympia, Greece, from 23 June until 3 July 2013. It is primarily aimed at Sport for Development and Peace practitioners, students, athletes, policy makers, faculty, programme officers and educators.
