Keep her in the Game
The Women´s Sports Foundation is running a campaign called ´Keep her in the Game´ and is looking for donations. The campaign aims to keep girls involved in sport, especially throughout the critical drop-out period during adolescence, in order to support the long and successful sport careers of female athletes. The organisation advocates for women´s equality in sport and is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Title IX, an educational amendment made in 1972 to support educational and athletic equality in American schools. The organisation offers travel and training funds to help female athletes reach their training and competition goals as well as the creation of a programme called ´GoGirlGo!´ to encourage sedentary girls to be active in elementary and middle schools.
