The International Symposium of Adapted Physical Activity (ISAPA) 2025 is set to take place from June 16 to 20, 2025, in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland. Hosted by Munster Technological University (MTU) on its Kerry campus, this biennial event brings together experts, practitioners, and enthusiasts in the field of adapted physical activity (APA) from around the globe.

ISAPA 2025 proudly operates under the patronage of UNESCO, underscoring its commitment to fostering international cooperation, dialogue, and understanding through inclusive sport. This affiliation highlights the symposium's dedication to contributing to UNESCO's educational and social objectives, promoting inclusive and resilient communities, and advancing sustainable development through sport.

 

Vision and objectives

The symposium aims to create opportunities that build new capacities among APA professionals and newcomers, addressing the full spectrum of disabilities. A key focus is on reaching the "Furthest Behind First," with special attention to individuals with visual impairments, deafblindness, mental health challenges, and intellectual disabilities. 

 

Registration

Registration for ISAPA 2025 is now open, offering multiple options to accommodate delegates, trade exhibitors, and companions. Full registration includes access to the main conference program, tea/coffee breaks, daily lunches, social, cultural, and activity programs (Monday-Wednesday), the Gala Dinner and entertainment on Thursday, CPD opportunities, and genealogy exploration activities.
