Global Research Project

Beyond Sport, in partnership with KantarSport, has initiated a global project to examine activities and attitudes of key partners using sport for development outcomes.

By exploring the benefits and barriers organisations are facing in terms of investing in sport and development initiatives, the aim of the research project is to enable all organisations to better understand the advantages of working in this field.

The following three core groups will be examined on how they use sport to improve communities around the world:

• Sports federations and governing bodies;
• Corporate companies; and
• Grassroots organisations.

Results are to be presented later this year at the Beyond Sport Summit 2011, held in Cape Town, South Africa.
