European Basketball Coaching Science

The University of Worcester, England, in partnership with the Lithuanian Academy for Physical Education and Sport from Kaunas, Lithuania, will commence a Masters Degree in European Basketball Coaching Science in mid-2011.

Modules include:

• Research Methods;
• European Basketball Coaching Concepts and European Basketball Coaching Pedagogy;
• Scientific Concepts of Basketball Coaching;
• Current Issues in Basketball Research;
• Applied Professional Placement; and
• Advanced Independent Study Conference.

The programme has the support of the Lithuanian Basketball Federation and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).
