Current Issues and New Ideas in Sport Science

The 5th Baltic Sport Science Conference will be held in Kaunas, Lithuania from 18-19 April, 2012.

With the main theme of Current Issues and New Ideas in Sport Science, the event aims to discuss the most recent advancements in the area of sport, physical education and health in the context of current global processes.

Conference topics will include:

• Physical Education, Social and Psychological Aspects of Physical Education;
• Coaching Science;
• Physical Activity and Health;
• Adapted Physical Activity, Rehabilitation and Social Inclusion of the Disabled;
• Biomedical Engineering for Sports;
• Tourism and Sport Management;
• Exercise Physiology and Motor Control.

The conference is organised by the Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education.

Abstracts for oral or poster presentations must be submitted by 1 March, 2012.
