Announcement: Internship Vacancy

ICSSPE offers an internship for students and graduates as from 1 November 2013. It will be based in its Executive Office in Berlin and runs for a period from three to six months.

About ICSSPE:

ICSSPE is the world’s largest multi-disciplinary network of approx. 300 national and international institutions and organisations that are concerned with sports. The Council belongs amongst others to the consultative bodies of UNESCO and the IOC. Its primary activities include the coordination of research projects, policy advice, expert exchange and collaboration between education and research facilities, the organisation of international sport conferences and symposia, as well as the production of scientific publications.

The Executive Office receives support from the Berlin Senate for the Interior and Sport and the Federal Ministry of the Interior of Germany.

Your Tasks:

As a member of the ICSSPE team, you will become actively engaged in the daily operations of the organisation including preparation of the monthly news, social media and administrative tasks.  You will also play a supporting role in the context of current projects, events and publications.  Specific tasks will be defined based on the time period of the internship.

Your Profile:

• Academic background in sport science, political science, development studies, social work or similar qualification;
• Strong interest in sports, physical education and health related issues;
• Excellent oral/written German and English skills;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office.
