Active, Healthy Citizens

The International Association for Physical Education in Higher Education (AIESEP) will host their World Congress from 10-13 February, 2014, in Auckland, New Zealand.

The main theme of AIESEP 2014 is Educating for Active, Healthy Citizens and will cover the following topics:

• Physical education, sport, and the making of active healthy citizens;
• Youth education, social contexts, and health literacies;
• Exploring the pleasure of movement experiences;
• Eastern and indigenous perspectives on movement, health and well-being;
• Professional learning and development of Physical Education teachers and sport coaches; and
• New perspectives on movement, health, sport, and physical activity.
