2014 Beyond Sport Award

The Beyond Sport Network has set the closing date for applications for the 2014 Beyond Sport Award to be 20 June 2014.

The Beyond Sport Award rewards the best projects using sport as a means to achieve positive social change. Since 2009, over 150 projects have been awarded.

35 shortlisted projects will be invited to join the annual Global Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, in October 2014.

The following award categories are available:

• Best New Project
• UNICEF Sport for Education Award
• Sport for Health Award
• Sport for Social Inclusion Award
• Sport for Conflict Resolution Award
• Sport for the Environment Award
• Sport Team of the Year
• Sport Federation or Governing Body of the Year
• Corporate of the Year.
