10th IOC World Conference on Sport and the Environment

The 10th edition of the IOC World Conference on Sport and the Environment is scheduled from 30 October to 1 November 2013 in Sochi, Russia. The biennial event is one of the IOC’s advocacy initiatives and is designed for representatives from the Olympic sector, governments, the UN system, academic institutions, NGOs, sponsors and the media. The conference will also include the presentation of the third IOC Sport and Environment Awards aimed at recognising outstanding actions at the grassroots level.
