Advanced Olympic Research Grant Programme

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced the launch of its 2015/2016 Advanced Olympic Research Grant Programme.

The grant programme is aimed at all professors, lecturers or research fellows who hold a doctoral degree and are employed in an academic/research capacity for the duration of the grant. It seeks to promote humanities and social science perspectives on ‘priority field of research’ annually identified by the IOC.

This year’s priority fields include:

• Bid and host cities
• The Youth Olympic Games
• The use of technology in high-level sport
• Doping in sport
• And others.
