IWG Global Summit 2026

The IWG Global Summit 2026 will take place from 9–11 July 2026 in Birmingham, United Kingdom, bringing together global leaders, practitioners, researchers and changemakers committed to advancing gender equality in sport and physical activity.

Under the theme “Beyond the Breakthrough”, the Summit will explore how progress for women and girls in sport can move beyond isolated achievements towards lasting, practical and sustainable change. Across three days, participants will engage with global perspectives, evidence-based insights and practical solutions across key areas including leadership, participation, investment, innovation and visibility.

ICSSPE encourages its members and wider network to take part in this important international gathering and contribute to the global dialogue on creating more inclusive, equitable and accessible sport environments for all women and girls.
