ISCPES 22 Biennial Conference

The 22nd Biennial Conference of the International Society of Comparative Physical Education and Sports (ISCPES) took place at New Delhi's Sports Authority of India – Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education from 31 October to 3 November 2023. 

 

Themed "Sport and Physical Education: Experiences in the Post-Pandemic Period," the event drew representatives from 23 countries worldwide, including delegates from UNESCO, WHO, FIEP, ICSSPE, and garnered endorsement from ICSSPE.

 

Over three days, the conference featured keynote addresses and discussions by luminaries and representatives from leading organisations such as UNESCO and WHO. Conversations spanned revitalising physical education post-pandemic, fostering global physical literacy, and exploring the transformative role of sports in development and peace efforts.

 

The 22nd ISCPES Biennial Conference served as a nexus for collaborative dialogue, fostering partnerships among 23 participating countries and prominent international organisations. Its impact resonated, promising progressive strides in the realm of comparative physical education and sports, inspiring a collective commitment to advancing the field globally.
