ICSSPE membership

At the heart of all ICSSPE activities are its members. ICSSPE members form the General Assembly, which includes approximately 300 national and international organisations and institutions of sport, sport science and physical education.

Benefits and services

Being a member of ICSSPE offers an effective and valuable opportunity to become internationally involved and supported in the broad fields of sports science and physical education, and to co-operate with colleagues in these fields. In addition ICSSPE member organisations also enjoy a range of benefits and services including:

Membership categories

• Category A: governmental organisations and non-governmental bodies which are recognised in their respective countries as being the major organisations responsible for physical education, sport or sport science;
• Category B: international organisations working to unify, coordinate, and promote activities in the field of physical education, sport or sport science, such as international organisations concerned with sport science, physical education, sport, and recreation, international sport federations, international organisations (cultural, artistic, scientific) with an interest in sport and physical education;
• Category C: governmental and non-governmental organisations at the national level, at the exclusion of those in Category A as above;
• Category D: publicly recognised research institutes and schools of higher learning in sport science and physical education.

• Category D 94 €
