The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF), a global ICSSPE member and the international governing body for flying disc sports, has released two new documents designed to support inclusive sport development and community engagement through flying disc activities.
The first resource offers a collection of Inclusive Sports Case Studies, showcasing diverse examples of how flying disc sports have been used to foster inclusion, accessibility and community participation across different contexts. These case studies provide practical insights and learnings for organisations, educators and sport practitioners seeking to broaden engagement and reduce barriers to participation.
Complementing this, the second resource, Flying Disc Sports for Active Cities, highlights how flying disc activities can contribute to creating healthier, more active urban environments. Drawing on real-world examples and implementation strategies, this resource serves as a useful reference for city planners, sport-for-all advocates and community leaders looking to incorporate physical activity into public spaces and programmes.
Both publications reflect WFDF’s commitment to using sport as a tool for social impact, promoting physical activity, inclusivity and community cohesion through accessible, engaging disc sports.
Explore these documents below to discover practical approaches for expanding active lifestyles and inclusive participation with flying disc sports in your community.
