Call for abstracts - 30th ECSS Annual Congress
The ECSS Annual Congress is the premier event in the field of sport science, that attracts close to 3,000 sport science experts, academics, professionals and practitioners from across the world.
The 30th ECSS Annual Congress will take place in the charming seaside city of Rimini, Italy, from 1 to 4 July 2025 at the state-of-the-art Palacongressi di Rimini. Hosted by the Universities of Bologna and Padova, the theme for ECSS Rimini 2025 is ‘Sport Science from Renaissance to the Millennial Era’.

The abstract submission for the Congress opens on 1 January 2025 under three formats - Oral Presentation, Conventional Print Poster Presentation and E-Poster. Abstracts can be submitted only via the ECSS account until 14 February 2025 (24:00 CET).
Authors can choose between five disciplinary fields and perspectives - Applied Sports Sciences; Biomechanics & Motor Control; Physiology & Nutrition; Psychology, Social Sciences & Humanities and Sports & Exercise Medicine & Health and a respective subtopic. For more information, please click here.
The ECSS Scientific Board, comprising eminent international sport scientists, will select the top-notch abstracts following diligent, multilayer evaluation process in line with the listed criteria.
