ERASMUS+ INTERCOMP Final Workshop in Thessaloniki
ICSSPE recently contributed to the INTERCOMP Learning, Teaching, and Training Event. This initiative, part of the INTERCOMP ERASMUS+ project where ICSSPE is a partner organisation, brought together educators, youth workers, social protection officers, and experts in physical education and sport science from Germany, Greece, Italy, Ireland and Cyprus, to enhance skills for effectively supporting refugee adults and children.
A significant focus of the training was on trauma-informed care, addressing the unique challenges faced by displaced individuals and promoting strategies for social inclusion. ICSSPE was responsible for leading the presentation on Module 3: "Innovative Approaches in Intercultural Education," as well as the development of Policy Recommendations aimed at implementing INTERCOMP educational modules and advocating for policy reforms to enhance education on intercultural competences.
