Safeguarding: Knowledge to Practice

The SSI Global Conference 2022, Safeguarding: Knowledge to Practice is scheduled to take place from 1-3 April 2022. The conference will be held online. For online registration head HERE.

The Conference will feature a full schedule of speakers, panel discussions, presentations by contributors and key researchers. It willfocus on the Athlete Voice in all areas of discussion, featuring advocates and survivors working together to encourage more involvement and support in the area of athlete safeguarding worldwide.

This conference is recommended for all those interested in safeguarding, sport integrity, and abuse prevention, as well as those working with athletes and organisations seeking to create safer spaces for all those working in sport.

It will discuss the damaging personal and organisational impacts of rights violations in sport including, but not limited to, sexual, physical, psychological abuse and neglect, and other violations that are in direct conflict with the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child and the U.N. Declaration of Human Rights.
