12th Conference in Dublin, Ireland

The European Association for Sociology of Sport (EASS) is holding its 12^th conference from 10 to 13 June 2014 in Dublin, Ireland.

The conference is organised by Dublin City University and will be held at Royal College of Surgeons.

The conference theme is ‘Sport, Unity and Conflict.’ It aims to address the discrepancy between the unifying potential often ascribed to sport and the fact that sport often separates people and creates differences between them.

Abstracts pertaining to this issue are welcomed until 31 January 2015.
