The Commonwealth is calling for young people between the ages of 18 and 29 years with a passion for the field of sport and development and peace to join their Youth Sport for Development and Peace Working Group (CYSDP).

The CYSDP works to advance youth development in the Commonwealth through sport. Under the ‘Advocate, Educate and Demonstrate’ slogan, the CYSDP utilises sport and non-sport platforms to demonstrate the benefits of SDP in development issues. It seeks to be the ‘leading and driving voice for youth in the Commonwealth towards promoting best practices for sport development and peace.’

The CYSDP accesses the voice of young people, targets decision makers and educates youth practitioners and SDP experts on dealing with developmental issues and providing research to contribute to discussions on youth issues in the sport for development and peace sector.
