ISHPES 2014 Gigliola Gori Junior Scholar Award

ISHPES is currently accepting applications for the 2014 Gigliola Gori Junior Scholar Award.

To be eligible, scholars must be registered undergraduate or graduate students or have been awarded their PhDs within the past year. In addition, only ISHPES members are eligible.

The award recognises outstanding research in the field of sport history. Entries must be unpublished.

The award winner will be announced by the end of June 2014. Prize money is € 1000. In addition, the winner will be eligible for a one-year free ISHPES membership as well as for free registration at the ISHPES Congress 2014 in Qatar, where he or she will present the winning essay.

Submission deadline is 30 May 2014.
