Perspectives and Challenges in the 21st Century

The 2nd Congress of the Latin American Association of Sport Management (ALDEGE) will take place at the Universidad de Nuevo León in Monterrey, Mexico, from 28-30 March, 2011.  

The Theme for the event is Perspectives and Challenges for the Sport Management Profession in the XXI Century.

Researchers, teachers, students, managers and professionals working in sports organisations are invited to

• gather sport management scholars and practitioners to establish academic and professional networks across Latin America;
• exchange views about the conceptual, philosophical and educational state of the sport management profession;
• promote the importance of professional sport management for the development of sport across the region;
• create community awareness about the role of sport management and its importance for the adequate development and growth of sport organisations.
