Bidding Open

The FISU bidding procedure for hosting the Summer and Winter 2019 Universiades is now open. Interested host cities must send letters of intention during the 1 September, 2012 – 30 March, 2013 period. In addition, bidding fees must be paid by 30 March, 2013.

There will be a candidate city seminar in Lausanne Switzerland in the spring of 2013 and the opportunity to attend the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan (Russia) as an observer.

Final presentations by bidding candidate cities will be made on November 9th, 2013 and followed by the allocation of the 2019 Summer and Winter Universiades by the FISU Executive Committee.
