37th International Symposium on Sports Sciences

The 37th International Symposium on Sports Sciences is considered one of the most important scientific events of sports sciences, exercise and physical activity area conducted in Brazil and Latin America. At this year, the conference will be held in São Paulo, Brazil, betweem 2nd - 4th October 2014. This year it will cebebrate the 40th Aniversary of the Center of Studies of the Physical Fitness Research Laboratory from Sao Caetano do Sul (CELAFISCS).
 
The symposium usually gather researchers and most renowned and recognized research institutions in Brazil area and is usually chosen as the most important event for scientific initiative by Professional Physical Education, Sports Nutrition and Sports Medicine.  
 
The Scientific Program includes international speakers as: I-Min Lee (University of Harvard), James Skinner (University of Arizona) , Claude Bouchard (Pennington Biomedical Research Center), Harold Kohl (Univ Texas at Austin), , Michael Pratt (CDC Atlanta), Steven Blair (University of South Carolina), and Antonio Maia (University of O Porto)
 
In conjunction it will be held the Agita Mundo Netwrok Meeting, a special event that will place together representatives of governmental, non-governmental, and the private sectors from diferent countries to 
discuss: How to Implement a Global Agenda to Promote Physical Activity.
