27th Sports Science University Day of the German Association for Sports Science (DVS)

The "Sports Science University Day of the German Association for Sports Science" is the central science congress of the dvs. It takes place every two years. The changing organizers can usually welcome 500 to 700 participants from sports science, sports and sports politics to the three-day event, including a number of guests from abroad. The scientific program of the University Day is enriched by an extensive accompanying program (satellite conferences and workshops, industrial exhibition, cultural events, and much more). The dvs Young Talent Award and the DVS Doctoral Prize (formerly the DVS Publication Prize) will also be awarded at the University Day.

The dvs University Day also holds the general meeting (general meeting) of the dvs, at which the board is elected, among other things. Some sections/commissions of the dvs hold their annual conferences as part of the University Day, offer specific events (mini-symposium, workshop, etc.) or hold meetings (e.g. the Assembly of Young Sports Scientists).
