IV International Symposium on Inclusion and Accessibility in Education: Inclusive Practices

The IV SIAE (International Symposium on Inclusion and Accessibility in Education: Inclusive Practices) is a scientific event integrated with NGIME/UFJF. The event will take place from December 4th to 8th, 2024, in a hybrid format (with in-person and virtual activities, some with online transmission), in the city of Juiz de Fora - MG.

The possibilities of accessibility in education map out an area of ​​knowledge that is still not very visible, but which is expected to be fundamental in the coming years.

The topics to be presented will range from historical perspectives to technology-based studies and social inclusion. Therefore, the event is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students, professors, researchers and professionals from various areas.

The event will have a direct impact on the initial and continuing training of several professionals, promoting the exchange of experiences between those currently working and those in training.

The proposal is, in addition to offering an overview of the main research in the area, to presentstudies related to educational accessibility and to understand new practices and future perspectives. Thus, the event will be an opportunity to take stock of the past, the present and, most importantly, the future of the multiple possibilities of accessibility applied to an inclusive and quality education.
