Registrations Open for the 5th World Association for Sport Management (WASM) Conference 2026 in Cape Town

Registrations are now open for the 5th World Association for Sport Management (WASM) Conference, taking place from 3 to 6 March 2026 at the Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town, South Africa.

 

Hosted by North-West University (NWU) and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), this landmark event will be the first WASM conference held on African soil. Under the theme “Global Visions, Local Actions: Innovation and Sustainability in Sport Management,” the conference will bring together scholars, practitioners, and industry leaders from around the world to share research, exchange ideas, and explore new frontiers in sport management.
