8th World Congress on Science and Football 2015

The 8th World Congress on Science and Football 2015 will take place from 20 to 23 May 2015 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The event is a multidisciplinary congress focusing on football, rugby, as well as on Australian, American and Gaelic Football and will bring together international scientists from the natural, human and social sciences.

The congress will cover the following themes:

• Testing and training in football

• Team cohesion and teambuilding in football

• Globalisation of modern football

• Football for health – prevention, treatment and rehabilitation

• Women’s football

• Fan culture in football

• Football and environmental factors

• Football medicine
