Call for Nominations
AIESEP Scientific Prize

The International Association of Physical Education in Higher Education (AIESEP) invites nominations to the 2010 IOC President's Prize for individuals or groups who have made a great scholarly contribution to the field of sport and physical education research.

The award, valued at US$ 10,000.00, will be announced at the AIESEP Congress in La Coruna, Spain in October, 2010.

The key criteria in judging nominees for this award are that the potential recipient:

• has produced a significant piece of work that has made a major impact on the field, or on the community;
• is a recognised leader in the field of physical education and/or sport by their peers;
• has been an active scholar within the field for at least the last 15 years;
• has successfully completed doctoral studies.
