Sports Law and Practice

The Leicester De Montfort Law School, England, in conjunction with the British Association for Sport and the Law (BASL), offers the distance learning course Sports Law and Practice for 2011.

The course will commence on 24 September, 2011 and can contribute towards a Master of Laws.

Course modules include:

• Sports Governance;
• Representing the Athlete/Player;
• Commercial Aspects of Sport;
• The Sports Participant and the Courts;
• Event Management;
• Sport and Ethics (Advanced);
• Commercial Aspects of Sport;
• Sport Broadcasting and New Media.

Lawyers practicing in sport regulation and governance, sport broadcasting, commercial aspects of sport and all legal and sport management professionals and those responsible for representing athletes are invited to apply.
