Sport Facility Management

The Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC) Institute of Training will host the 5th International Sport Facility Management Programme in Melbourne, Australia from 7-10 November, 2011.

During the Programme participants can develop practical tools to use in the planning and operation of major facilities and events. Visits to major sporting venues, including the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre, Melbourne and Olympic Park, will complement the workshop.

Topics include:

• Sporting precincts and hubs – Major events and community participation;
• Legacy planning and sustainability;
• Strategic planning for innovation;
• Digital solutions and marketing;
