Running Across Europe

Koen Breedveld and Jeroen Scheerder of the Mulier Instituut/The Netherlands have published a book which provides research findings about European-wide participation in running and related expenses.

In addition, the editors looked at different social patterns of running, e.g. the increasing number of women in running and the overrepresentation of persons with a higher education.
