One Sport Model for Europe?

The European Commission asks to participate in a survey to collect views of a possible European Model of Sport. The survey is contributing to a research that is aiming at understanding the evolution of sport governance regulations, finances and practices in different sports and different places over time.

The possible establishment of a European Sport Model is criticised by members of the professional public as it is assumed that such a model ignores the diverse culture and development of sport and physical activity behaviour across Europe as well as the freedom of association.
 

The results of this survey will feed into a study that Ecorys and KEA are conducting on behalf of the European Commission, Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture. All answers provided will be anonymised.
