International Safeguards for Children in Sports

The International Safeguards for Children in Sport Working Group will be hosting their first series of continental webinars (in English) on 6th August 2020 between 11:00-am-12:00 BST (CEST+1).

 

The webinar has been created as part of the International Safeguards Campaign, which will be launched 8th August 2020.

 

Invited are European Leaders from Sport Ministries, Child-rights and Protection agencies, National and International Sport Governing bodies.

The International Safeguards for Children in Sport Working Group is an Initiative by the Council of Europe which is delivered through their Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport (EPAS). EPAS provides a platform for intergovernmental sports co-operation between the public authorities of its member states. It aims to promote the development of any sport whose benefits are wide-reaching. It develops policies and standards, monitors them and helps with capacity-building and the exchange of good practices.
