ICSSPE Elections Coming Up

As the term of office for most board members is coming to an end, ICSSPE members will vote for a new leadership.

Elections to the ICSSPE Executive Board and to the President’s Committee will be held 31^st August 2016 in Santos, Brazil. Additionally, Acting President Uri Schaefer and Executive Director Detlef Dumon invite ICSSPE members to participate in a comprehensive strategy discussion to bundle competences within the network and to develop strategies which will contribute to future designs of global sport and physical education.

“My colleagues and I look forward with great anticipation to the discussion among our members. I am convinced that this exercise will demonstrate our intention to make our global human society a healthier and more active one”, says Uri Schaefer who has led through the first phase of the strategy process.

Board meetings will take place from 28^th until 31^st August, followed by the International Convention on Science, Education and Medicine in Sport. This event will start in the evening of 31^st August 2016 and will last until 4^th September 2016.
