AFIDE 2011

From 5-8 December, 2011, the 4th International Convention on Physical Activity and Sport (AFIDE 2011) will take place in Havana, Cuba.

The event aims to foster the exchange, promotion and dissemination of best practices and research results in the area of sport and physical activity, especially with regard to applied sciences, professionals´ education, management and leadership, as well as leisure time activities and sustainable increases in quality of life.

Hosts of the event are the Universidad de Ciencias de la Cultura Física y el Deporte, Cuba, and the Instituto Nacional del Deporte, Educación Física y Recreación de la República de Cuba (INDER).

Professors, researchers as well as leaders of organisations and companies concerned with sport and physical activity are invited to participate in the convention.
